we grew up drinking this saffron milk as a warm treat in the evenings. My husband grew up drinking it in the mornings before his morning chai. My cousin likes dunking her jalebis in it as a dessert. INGREDIENTS
2 cups milk
½ tsp ground cardamon powder (elaichi)
4-5 saffron strands
1 tbs total ground nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews)
1-2 tbs sugar (per taste)
Garnish – additional saffron strands, almond slices, rose petals
