ACAI (“I see”) this bowl and all I want to do is smile and dig in. The bottom layer is a beautiful strawberry, blueberry, and acai smoothie (sorry you can’t really see it for the toppings but it’s really a beautiful purple color), and topped with granola, fresh fruit (blueberries and bananas), almond nut butter, fresh shredded coconut, and chia seeds.
When my kids were younger, I would make them smoothie bowls (in the summer) and oatmeal bowls (in the winter) like this as a hearty breakfast/brunch. It’s easily customizable for allergies and food preferences and the whole family can get involved in making them as well. It’s super hearty and delicious, and kids love having ice cream for breakfast while parents love having it be nice cream!
