Breakfast is the most important meal of the day is the way the saying goes, and this smoothie tastes just like a milkshake. I like to add in flax powder but you can add in any nutritional boost you want. It’s a good day to have a good day (especially when you start the day with this delicious smoothie!)
Ingredients
1 cup ripe mango, peeled and diced
1 tangerine, peeled and separated into slices
1 banana, peeled
½ cup milk (my current favorite is Silk Ultra protein milk)
A few ice cubes
Optional nutritional boosts (add about 1 tsp of any): flax seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, soaked nuts (e.g. almonds or cashews), vanilla protein powder, acai powder, goji berries, or whole peeled ginger. I enjoy adding kale/spinach to my smoothies but that will change the color of this smoothie.
Method
1 Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Could it be any easier? Enjoy!
