CHOLE (CHICKPEA) PUFFS

Have some leftover chole? Here’s an easy way to create an awesome snack. Add some almond flour to the chole to help absorb the liquid. Take your favorite puff pastry and cut it into large squares. Sprinkle masala/seasoning on the puff pastry and put a spoon of the chole on just half of the puff pastry. Be sure to leave some space on the sides. Top with onions, peppers, and fold the puff pastry over so that the seams touch. Use a fork to make the side marks. Brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle sesame seeds or @traderjoes everything but bagel seasoning on top. Bake according to the puff pastry instructions and enjoy with cilantro chutney or ketchup. These are always a hit!

Note: You can use this same technique with paneer, rajma, etc. – just be creative (and use up those leftovers!)
