first things first, I never liked cottage cheese growing up. But as I’ve grown older, I have tried to incorporate it more into my snacks/meals primarily to take advantage of the high protein value of cottage cheese. Here’s a quick (seriously 1 min is all it takes) spicy cottage cheese dip. I only make one serving at a time – mix together 1 serving of cottage cheese, 1-22 tbs of your favorite hot sauce (don’t judge but I love @tacobell sauce), 1-2 tbs of hot salsa, and optionally add in cilantro, green onions, chopped jalapenos, roasted corn, or 1 tbs of chipotle @bitchinsauce. Enjoy with your favorite tortilla chip. One serving of this dip plus one serving of blue corn flax tortilla chips is less than 300 calories and over 15 grams of protein (check labels please!)
