ROASTED GINGER BRUSSELS SPROUTS


Here’s an easy, hearty, and loved by all vegetable dish perfect for your holiday table. Don’t worry if you’re not a brussels sprouts fan as you can use this technique for your favorite vegetable. Let me know if you try this recipe!

INGREDIENTS

1 pound brussels sprouts

1/4 cup sliced onions

2 tsp grated and peeled ginger

3 tbs olive oil

1 tsp soy sauce  

1 tsp sesame seeds                     

1/2 teaspoon salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Optional – saffron shreds, sliced scallions

METHOD

  1. Heat oven to 425F
  2. Wash, trim, and halve the brussels sprouts
  3. Toss all ingredients together and arrange on a baking sheet
  4. Roast for 15 minutes. Then, flip them and continue roasting for 10 to 15 more minutes
  5. Toss with saffron and scallions and serve while hot
