INGREDIENTS
1 pound brussels sprouts
1/4 cup sliced onions
2 tsp grated and peeled ginger
3 tbs olive oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Optional – saffron shreds, sliced scallions
METHOD
- Heat oven to 425F
- Wash, trim, and halve the brussels sprouts
- Toss all ingredients together and arrange on a baking sheet
- Roast for 15 minutes. Then, flip them and continue roasting for 10 to 15 more minutes
- Toss with saffron and scallions and serve while hot
