For a fun brunch idea with friends, save this recipe for a TOAST-ally cool idea. I generally don’t use precise ingredients but start with sliced crusty bread (I prefer sourdough). Take about 1 cup of non-dairy milk and add vanilla, cinnamon, and a little nutmeg. Dip the bread in the milk mixture until it’s soaked and add to a heated pan with vegan butter. Toast until golden on both sides and serve with maple syrup, berries, and a dusting of powder sugar.
