TOSTADA PIZZA

Sometimes I want pizza and sometimes I want tacos, and sometimes I want both together and that’s when I make this tostada pizza! It’s the best comfort food and hits all the right spots! This is a semi-homemade recipe since I used a pre-made crust, canned beans, and store-bought sauces but you can certainly make all of these things homemade. I included ingredients but not necessarily quantities as that’s personal preference for this particular pizza. This is a huge favorite in our house so definitely let me know if you make it!

INGREDIENTS

1 pizza crust (not thin style)

Taco or enchilada sauce

Black beans or refried beans

Cheddar or Mexican cheese

Veggies – chopped jalapenos, tomatoes, onions, green onions, corn, bell peppers

Garnishes – chopped garlic, basil, oregano, cilantro

@traderjoes Zhoug sauce (optional)

Shredded lettuce

@bitchinsauce or sour cream

Crushed tortilla chips

METHOD

1 Heat your oven to 425F

2 Spread taco sauce over the pizza crust

3 Top with beans, cheese, veggies, and garnishes

4 Cook for approximately 10 min

5 Remove from oven and cut into slices. Add dollops of zhoug sauce and broil for 2 min
