OLIVE OIL PASTA (Paryushan friendly)


Quick and easy for me make and filling and delicious for the kids to eat. I call that a win-win! Boil your favorite pasta al dente (don’t forget to salt the water). Then, drain the pasta (I use a bowl to keep the reserved water). Add olive oil to the same pot and heat it slightly. Add cumin seeds and once they splutter, add the pasta and turn off the heat. Stir the pasta gently so that the oil coats the pasta evenly. Add crushed red pepper, ground black pepper, dried basil, and @traderjoes chili lime seasoning to taste and mix together. Add some of the reserved pasta water if needed. Heat for about 1 minute and serve!
