HUNG CURD CHAAT


a little spicy, a little sweet, a little salty, a little tangy, and a whole lot of flavor! My friend made this amazing appetizer for us and it was awesome.

Create hung curd by wrapping yogurt in cheesecloth and letting the excess water drain for 3-4 hours. Alternatively, start with a high quality Greek yogurt that is thick. Spread the yogurt evenly on a plate and top with your favorite chaat toppings – here we have shredded beets, pomegranate, green chilis, spicy boondi, tamarind chutney, thin sev, and lots of cilantro. Serve with puris. We literally had to make plates upon plates of this hung curd chaat because it was such a big hit with everyone!
